Astronaut Challenge
The Florida Engineering Foundation has continued to support the Student Astronaut Challenge competition held at the Kennedy Space Center in February each year. The program continues to grow and expect a little more than 200 students participating this year in the event. A new space flight simulator has been added and they are currently working on the development of a new Space Station simulator for the Engineering Challenge. All this has been made possible through the support of members of the Florida community, that share in the vision of improving student engagement in the areas of science, technology, engineering and math.
The Florida Engineering Foundation will continue our sponsorship with this amazing program. This Middle and High school program has continued to support our Statewide effort to highlight the importance of STEM education to students.
